Ok, so where were we up to?
Oh yes, last time I wrote in I had just come back from Braga representing England at the Dance World Cup as a world champion with a gold medal! Well, guess what? Since then, I’ve not only turned 21, but I’ve also been selected to dance for Team England again and I am off to Prague with my college Jelli Studio – wish us luck!
Since we last caught up, I’ve also performed in Matilda the Musical and will be in the musical theatre show with my friends at Loretta Legge Theatre School when I come back from Prague.
“I love performing, it’s my favourite thing!”
My business, Everyone Move CIC, is slowly growing. We now teach 2 classes every Friday, so I am earning my own money, which I love! If you could take a moment and find us on Instagram to share my business, I would really appreciate it!
Speaking of my business, Everyone Move performed on the main stage at ‘Move It’ in London in front of 4000 people recently – It was so exciting, and we got great feedback about it!
We have also performed at a few charity events this year which we have enjoyed, we strongly believe it’s important to give something back.
Last year, I won a Merseyside Sparkle Award and this year we have been invited to perform at the event in November. It’s so good that these awards celebrate the fantastic young people who live in Merseyside.
I love seeing my friends do well too – did you see my friend Wrabel on the Kelly Clarkson show? He’s re-released ‘The Village’ song. That is the song we danced to when me and my friends in Unity got our BGT Golden Buzzer off Simon Cowell. This song is so powerful – give us a watch on You Tube and you’ll see what I mean!
I hope my updates in POW inspire other disabled people to believe anything is possible.
“Never ever believe people who tell you ‘You won’t be able to’, because I always say, ‘I will!’ and so can you.”
Love,
Emma
